Book Launch: White Book of Best Practice for the Implementation of 1325 in Cyprus
The experiences of men and women in conflict and post conflict conditions are different. In these differences, women offer a vital perspective in the analysis of war as well as providing strategies toward peacebuilding that focus on creating ties across opposing factions and increasing the inclusiveness, transparency, and sustainability of peace processes.
The “White Book of Best Practices” makes policy recommendation for the implementation of UN 1325 in Cyprus and is based on the work of more than 50 women who participated in a workshop jointly organized by FES, World Vision, EU-House in Cyprus and the Swedish Embassy.
The FES is co-hosting this event with our distinguished partners World Vision International, the Swedish Embassy in Cyprus, the UN Women Regional Office Turkey, the European Union in Cyprus, and the UN Good Office Cyprus.
