Our director, Hubert Faustmann, gave a briefing to a group of students on FES's mission and its role here in Cyprus.
A group of students from Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen kicked off their study trip to Cyprus on Monday, 10.02.25, at the Goethe Institute in the heart of the buffer zone. Our director, Hubert Faustmann, shared insights into the Friedrich Ebert Foundation’s mission and its role here in Cyprus. The session wrapped up with a thought-provoking Q&A on current geopolitical challenges in the region and the impact of FES Cyprus projects. It was also a pleasure catching up with our colleagues from Uni Tübingen and the Goethe Institute here in Cyprus and warmly welcoming their new director, Tanja Krüger, to the island!
