The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and Cypriots’ Voice will hold a symposium on the topic “Cyprus-Problem in Perspective”; the workshop is designed as “members’ brain storming” on the progress made on the Cyprus issue.
Only a strong civil society can make the reunification of Cyprus viable. Various bicommunal NGOs strive for a solution of the Cyprus problem and provide ideas and support. This is of particular importance now since the current peace talks have entered their final and decisive stage.
The workshop is designed to hold briefing session for the members of Cypriot Voice with participation of potential members and “prominent experts” as keynote speakers. The goal is to form an opinion through discussion and to reflect about the most recent developments in the Cyprus issue with the view to formulate policy recommendations.
