From December 9-11 2024, FES supported Diplomeds, its core partner organisation in its delegation visit to Brussels, just days after the newly appointed High Representative/Vice President and the Commissioner for the Mediterranean assumed office.
A great opportunity for the high ranking Diplomed Delegation to meet with counterparts at the European External Action Serive and the European Commission for strategic discussions on the pact for the Mediterranean, EU assistance in Gaza, and the EU’s strategy for both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean. Diplomeds also presented innovative ideas and proposals, emphasizing the importance of conflict resolution in the Western Mediterranean.
