On November the 13th, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the German Embassy in Nicosia brought together people, who witnessed this historic event themselves.
Birgit Ziartidou, Joulietta Laouris, Hassan Coetoek and Marinos Ioannides, who come from very different backgrounds, shared their memories and gave the audience a personal insight into this moving time of European history.
After the reports of the eye witnesses, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views.
